Dandies Online: True/Slant

Dear dandy readers, you must check out Sara Libby's post on True/Slant entitled "Why Is the Media Obsessed With Bow Ties?"  Libby suggests that every time a bow tie wearer is mentioned in the media he is specifically identified as a bow tie wearer, and that, according to Libby, is sexism! She claims it's sexism because there are apparently no comparable articles of women's clothing which garner so much attention. Wow, I think it's much simpler than that: Bow ties are really cool. Guys look really good in bow ties. Most men don't wear bow ties but they're gaining in popularity, and that is apparently noteworthy.
